Heat oven to 375°F.
Cream together peanut butter and butter; add vanilla. Beat in sugar and honey, then stir in eggs, one at a time; beat until batter is smooth and light. Sift flour and baking soda and stir into batter, then finally fold in chopped nuts. Scoop up batter with a dessert spoon and drop onto lightly greased cookie sheets. Press down with the flat of a fork to smooth the top of each melt, making cookies about 1/3 inch in height. Bake for 12 minutes.
